- Antineoplastic drugs like procarbazine;
- Tryptophan;
- Anticoagulants;
- Other drugs for psychiatric disorders;
- Pain Relief drugs;
- Drugs for GERD like Cisapride;
- Medicines that affect heart rhythm; and
- Amphetamine/ Dextroamphetamines.
Side Effects When Taking Zoloft vs. Effexor
Zoloft may bring about the following side effects:
- Allergic reaction;
- Black/Tarry stools, or blood in the stool;
- Heart rhythm abnormalities;
- Hallucination;
- Feeling of weakness/ tiredness;
- Vomiting;
- Seizure disorders; and
- Unusual bleeding.
Also, be watchful of the following side effects when taking Effexor:
- Allergic reaction;
- Respiratory difficulties;
- Vision problems and changes;
- Hallucinations;
- Seizure disorders;
- Unusual bleeding and bruising;
- Difficulty urinating or less than usual amount of urine.
