5 advices on how to maintain your silhouette

1. Don’t go shopping when you are feeling hungry. This can only make you buy a lot of things you don’t necessarily need, plus it will make you buy unhealthy aliments. If you take a snack at home before going shopping you will not need to worry that you might fall into temptation and eat fast foods or sweets. Eating a banana or an apple with a few biscuits will get you ready for shopping.

2. Work your body. Even though you might not have time to go to the gym you can exercise your body muscles by using your car less and your feet more, by using the stairs instead of taking the elevator, by adjusting your garden’s aspect on your own without paying someone to do that for you. All these small activities put your body muscles to work, so you can maintain your silhouette without going to the gym too.

3. Eat your lunch at the table. By sitting in front of the TV or standing up while eating you will not be able to keep your mind focused on the eating activity. This will only lead to indigestions, overeating and extra kilos added to your weight. By eating at the table, in a peaceful ambient you will eat slowly and just the amount of food your body needs and also, your digestion will be eased.

4. Get enough sleep. Studies say that it is best to go to sleep around 10-11 pm as the gallbladder and the liver seem to work more intensely on the body’s detoxification process somewhere between 11 pm and 2 am. By getting enough sleep the body will also lack the need of eating fatty aliments that are good only for bringing energy to a tired organism. So, try to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night and your metabolism will work just fine.

5. Drink water. Water is a good allied for the people who want to keep their body healthy and fit. The lack of water as well as the lack of nutrients can determine the body to slow down its metabolism, leading to a useless effort of loosing pounds from the weight. You can drink a glass of water with 30 minutes before every meal, but also make sure you drink some more as your body will need at least 1.5l of water daily. You can try drinking tea, carrot juice as well as fresh apple or orange juice as a supplement, but try to keep away from sodas and other juices you find in the stores as they are filled with chemicals and only mess up your metabolism.

Merry Christmas
