Want to live longer? Eat the right food
We all dream to live a long healthy and prosperous life, but we do so little to fulfill this dream. I have managed to write a list of aliments that should be consumed daily and weekly so that the body can function well for many years.

What you should eat daily?
1. Tomatoes. They are one of the best natural antioxidants due to their rich content of vitamin C and E. For men they are even more recommended as they prevent prostate cancer.
2. Cereals. Their fibers are good for the intestines and besides the fact that they prevent constipation they also keep colon cancer away. They are quite satiating and they help you maintain a healthy weight.
3. Garlic. Even though this is not an aliment that can be consumed daily, due to its intense scent, you can eat it from time to time as it is a heart protector and keeps infections away.
Tips on treating diarrhea
How to treat diarrhea
During the summer it can often happen for us to get diarrhea. This can happen due to altered aliments we consume (even though we do not know this), due to traveling (when going in vacation) or due to negative emotions that some of us have to bear during the final exams. For all these diarrhea causes I have managed to make up a list of 5 easy to apply tips for getting well again.
1. Do not avoid liquids.
During a week of diarrhea a lot of liquids are lost by our body and this can lead to a serious dehydration. It is important to keep a balance between the liquid losses and the liquid ingestion. You can drink water as long as it is from a sure source. If you do not know if the water you drink is pure, you should boil it and let it cool down before you drink it.
Nervous Stomach Treatment. User Requested Topic
Recently we have received a request for an advice from a reader of our blog, concerning a nervous stomach. Here is what our reader Sherry, asked us: “How to get healthy foods back in diet since I have had a nervous stomach due to a lot of stress over deaths in the family. I don’t know how to do this, especially vegetables.”
First of all I would like to ask Sherry if she was diagnosed with nervous stomach by her doctor. When talking about a nervous stomach doctors usually refer to the ‘Irritable bowel syndrome’. In Sherry’s case I’m not sure that her nervous stomach refers to the irritable bowel syndrome. As Sherry
did not tell me more about her condition I tend to believe that due to the emotional stress her body and mind were exposed to, the stomach was not able to accept proper food any more.
Holidays and indigestion
As Orthodox Ester is approaching I have considered appropriate to write this article in the attempt of giving you some tips on how to keep indigestion away from you and your family members. Even though you might have celebrated Easter in March, maybe you have orthodox friends that will invite you at their feast and you need to be prepared to help your body in the digestion process.
It is not easy for our body to jump from the 2 to 3 limited in calories daily meals to the bounteous Easter meals. If before we used to eat just one or two types of food now we will definitely want to eat five or six types of aliments.
Taken by surprise or body will ‘fight’ back with its own weapons: abdominal pains, migraines, nausea and gas accumulation. You can avoid all these unpleasant consequences by following some easy tips I have learned during my gastroenterology internship.
