After trying so hard to obtain a healthy tan for a lot of us it would be a pity to let it fade away. There are some tricks that can be applied in order for you to enjoy more of your chocolate looking skin.

Normally the bronze color of your skin is given by the pigment situated in your epidermal layer. In time, due to natural exfoliation of the cells and due to cosmetic treatments like peeling and gommage, the tan will fade away. These procedures should be done within a week before going in vacation and exposing your body to the sun. Also, avoid taking long showers or baths as they will have a resembling effect on your skin as cosmetic exfoliation has.

During the summer days people suffering from cardiac affections can suffer major problems with their blood pressure. The blood pressure is the force exercised by the blood on the arteries, measured during the heart’s systole and diastole. Normally our blood pressure should somewhere between 110/60mmHg and 130/80 mmHg.

If the blood vessels get narrowed, the blood circulation becomes a little bit difficult and the heart needs to

work more. Automatically the values of the blood pressure will be rising. Sometimes other organic affections like hormonal unbalances, kidney affections or even pregnancy can cause hypertension.

There are some other factors that can influence our blood pressure too: smoking, obesity, stress, and alcohol intake.

We all dream to live a long healthy and prosperous life, but we do so little to fulfill this dream. I have managed to write a list of aliments that should be consumed daily and weekly so that the body can function well for many years.

What you should eat daily?

1. Tomatoes. They are one of the best natural antioxidants due to their rich content of vitamin C and E. For men they are even more recommended as they prevent prostate cancer.

2. Cereals. Their fibers are good for the intestines and besides the fact that they prevent constipation they also keep colon cancer away. They are quite satiating and they help you maintain a healthy weight.

For a lot of people going to the beach can be a source of stress. This is because sunburns occur most frequent during the first days of relaxation on the beach. People are either using an inadequate sun-block cream for their type of skin or they don’t use it at all considering that the sun is skin friendly.


For those who have a mediterranean type of skin, sun should not be a problem when talking about sunburns. These lucky people can use a low factor sun-block cream or lotion as they will never get burned if lying on the beach. Unfortunately light skinned people are obliged to use during the first days of tanning a 40+ sun-block lotion, and some of them still get burned.
