Quick natural home remedies for 6 problems

As chronic affections have the bad habit of activating and becoming acute only when we are very busy and lack the needed time to go for the doctor right away I have thought that a few tips on how to resolve at home that crisis situation are needed.

1. How to unblock a blocked nose. If you do not have any medication at hand you can use a solution made of salt dissolved in water. Put one or two drops of that into the blocked nostril and your nose will be free again. You can also replace salt with a few drops of natural lemon juice.

2. The bleeding of the gums. You can stop this by using essential oils of geranium tea tree and lemon. Before brushing your teeth add one drop of essential oil over the toothpaste. The inflammation of the gums and the bleeding will be reduced. Sometimes a solution of 0.1% concentration of folic acid can stop gums from bleeding as well.

3. Acne. If an irritation looks like is going to transform into a pimple you can try placing half of garlic over it and leave it there for 15 minutes. It will stop the pimple from getting bigger. A drop of neem oil on that pimple can also do wonders.

4. Toothaches. You can try rinsing your mouth with a solution made of propolis tincture and water or the juice of wheat grass. Also some people say that by chewing guava leaves your pain will go away in no time. Another useful remedy is to apply a packet of ice on the affected area (on the cheek of course).

5. Skin rashes. Whether they are caused by the sun, plants or perfumes you can always calm them down by using mineral water or thermal water sprays. Also an over the counter antihistamine is great, so remember to keep that medicine in your first aid kit from home.

6. Skin burns. When cooking or ironing accidents can happen. Minor skin burns can be treated easily by applying a wet bandage soaked in cold black or green tea. The inflamed blood vessels will be reduced fast by the phytonutrients contained by the tea.

Wow, this was a very informative post. I’m printing it out as we speak!

Acne is perhaps the most common chronic skin ailment. It is an inflammatory condition of the sebaceous glands and the hair follicles, characterized by the presence of blackheads, pimples, cysts and scars. It is closely related to an imbalance in the hormonal profile at puberty.
Drink plenty of water as it flushes out the toxins from the body, keep the tissues hydrated. Add lemon or orange to water to make it refreshing.
