Depression is a disorder which can affect the physical, mental and emotional aspect of an individual. It is one of the deadly disorders as it isn’t a physical ailment which can cure over time. Instead, this problem can interfere with the daily life of the sufferer which leads to decrease in output and/or performance.
This further causes increased depression over the fact that one isn’t able to perform better in different aspects of one life. - A mixture of rose petals should be added into some boiling water. The sufferer should add sugar and then drink whenever an individual is feeling depressed. Another diet method includes making a mixture of Indian gooseberry juice and few grams of nutmeg powder. This mixture should be taken thrice daily or whenever one feels pangs of depression.
- Licorice tea is also considered one of best remedies for treating depression. However, more than two or three cups shouldn’t be consumed in a day.
- Another mood up lifter includes eating an apple with honey and milk. Or, the sufferer can also go for an immersion bath for half or one hour daily. These are some of the simplest and most effective home remedies for depression.
- Asparagus root is also beneficial in depression treatment. The sufferer should consume few grams of the root powder daily.
- Yoga and meditation are also considered some of the best cures of remedy. These help in focusing away from the negative thoughts which can result in depression pangs.
- Another dietary measure includes preparing tea made from half teaspoon each of sage and basil and drinking it two times a day to effectively cure depression and its symptoms.
- Tea made from green cardamoms can also help to naturally cure depression. For making this tea, two cardamoms should be added in one cup boiling water. Sugar can be added according to taste and drunk twice daily to cure the depression pangs.
