Acne – is inflammation of the sebaceous glands, hair follicles with the formation of sebaceous plugs (black dots) and nodules.

Causes of Acne:

irrational, irregular diet, excessive consumption of coffee, alcohol, starch, sugar, fried and fatty foods, chronic constipation, nervous and endocrine disorders.

Acne generally appears on the forehead, chin, nose wings, and upper back. The most common form of acne is – acne vulgaris with a black head, beneath which is a thick greasy secrete which is in the form of “worm”.

Here are some of the best Home remedies for acne:

  • Prepare the broth of: 1 tablespoon of dried leaves and flowers of hypericum, pour a glass of boiling water in it and let it boil for 10-15 minutes and immediately strain. Use it as lotion and gently rub the face with it. It contains tannins, vitamins F, C, pro-vitamin A. It acts as an antiseptic and has astringent action.
  • In a glass of warm boiled water pour 1 teaspoon of tincture of calendula pharmacy and 1 teaspoon of honey, mix it well. Dip the cotton swab in a solution and apply them on the pimply skin for leave it for 20-30 minutes.
  • Very useful home remedies for acne: apply a slice of raw pumpkin on oily skin.
  • Acne Lotion: Take 2 tablespoons of calendula flowers, 1/4 cup of 40% alcohol, 1/5 cup water and 1/3 cup cologne, preserve it in a warm place and add 5g of 5% alcoholic solution of boric acid and 3ml of glycerol. Apply it on your face at least 2 times a day.
  • To prepare an effective acne lotion at home, brew 1 tablespoon of dried or fresh herbs in a glass of boiled water as tea. Let it cool off and drain the water. Add equal amount of alcohol and 1 tablespoon of apple or wine vinegar to the residue. If the skin is dry, alcohol is added to 3 times less. Apply it all over your face; it helps in compression of acne.
  • Take 1 tablespoon of chopped dandelion roots and pour 1 cup hot water, simmer it for 15 minutes. Let it cool for 45 minutes and drain. Drink 1/3-1/2 cup 3 times a day, 15 minutes before eating meals. It helps reduce skin rashes and acne.
