Over years blogging and freelance writing has started attracting a lot of people interested into this profession. Eating, drinking, chatting in front of the computer as writing calls for hours of work. Dedicating so much time to the computer without moving much causes a lot of physical problems. At the end of the day you are left with your with an unbearable pain in the back and a pain in the neck.
Some of the things necessary to keep your back in shape while writing are:
- A little bit of exercise that would help you flex your muscles and relax your nerves.
- A short walk now and then would help ease the pressure on the back.
- Take a break every couple of hours to give your mind and body a little breather.
Some measures that can help you stay fit are:
- Design your working area in a way that it minimizes the pressure on your back and helps you retain a good posture.
- Get a good chair for yourself that suits your back.
- A simple exercise ball can keep your muscles active and your back straight.
- Have a good control on your eating habits. Do not munch on something or the other throughout the day. It would only worsen things.
- Wake up to a not too stressful morning walks. Slowly increase the intensity of the walks. After a month of relentless walks start walking faster and jog a bit. It is good to sweat for about ten minutes.
- Keep track of your progress so that you can encourage yourself to achieve more everyday by increasing the intensity and the excretion gradually so that you do not get scared or loose the interest in exercise.
- It is okay to go slow as pressure might force you to quit.
- It would be very effective to join a weight lose program or a gym where stretching and sweating would not look like a lonely affair as the place is filled with dedicated people who would motivate you to do better.
