How to Exercise While Sitting at Your Desk : EXERCISE TIPS

Exercising while sitting at the desk is very important because the person who does this will be healthier than people who do not exercise at their desk jobs. Many methods of exercising at the desk are available. These exercises help to maintain the muscle tones in the lower limb and increase the number of calories spent by the person.

The lower limb exercises help to make sure that the circulation of blood is present and the blood from the lower limb is pumped to the upper limb. The first lower limb exercise that can be done is the ankle pump exercises which can simply be done by doing up and down movements of the ankle joint. This helps to make sure that the calf muscles contract and relax. This helps to pump the blood pooled in the lower legs into the circulation.

The next lower limb exercise that can be done is to move the knee joint. The extension and then the bending of the knee joint helps to contract and relax the quadriceps muscle. This helps to make sure that the person keeps stretching the muscles of the lower limb.

The upper limb exercises that can be done while sitting at your desk will help to also mobilize your hands and this can help to give relaxation to the muscles. The muscles get increasingly stressed when you are sitting and working. Bracing the shoulders is the simplest exercise that can be done to relax the upper limb. This can be done by bending both the hands at the elbows and putting the hands behind the head.

Other upper limb exercise to be done by the person sitting at the desk and working is by moving the wrist up and down. This kind of exercise should especially be done by those working at the computer for long hours. Moving the wrist up and down will also help to relax the muscles of the hand. Other than moving the wrist up and down, the person can also move the wrists in a circular direction to relax the hands.

    i reccomend to all those who are super busy working at the office to lay off the soda and sweet drinks and try something like vita coco coconut water. its healthy, hydrating and tastes amazing! i did exactly that about a year ago and since then i have slimmed up and toned my body. small changes make all the difference! thanks coco
