How to recognize the Stress symptoms
Nowadays everybody talks about stress, about its damaging effects upon our minds and bodies, upon our family relationships and upon our sexual life. Stress can not be easily avoided, but most of all, can not be easily detected because it acts in silence.
Sometimes we do not detect stress in our lives because we are too blind to see it. We do not pay too much attention on the signals our bodies give us and when we wake up and try to do something it can be too late, or too difficult to fight with stress.
Here are a few elements we should consider into detecting stress in our lives:
1. Sleep issues. In case you have noticed you can not fall asleep as easily as you used too, or you wake up during the night for several times you should think of stress. Waking up in the morning feeling tired is not good news either when talking about stress.
2. Bad mood. Everybody can suffer from time to time of bad mood, but when things seem to repeat themselves over and over in a short period of time, you have to think about stress. Loosing enthusiasm, permanent anxiety or nervousness and even depressions are signs that stress has been messing with us for quite a long time.
3. Muscular tensions or muscular fatigue. These two elements are signs of chronic stress. They are caused by an excessive adrenaline secretion inside our body. A long time ago adrenaline was the hormone that would make us alert in front of danger. Nowadays adrenaline makes us alert of the social, work or family problems. That’s how stress works.
4. Symptoms of acute stress: sometimes stress can work upon us so hard that we can develop diarrhea, tachycardia, headaches and we even loose our appetite.
For fighting stress changes in the lifestyle are needed. Identifying the major cause of stress can lead afterwards to solving the major issues that give us headaches. Preparing in advance for a new situation like changing the workplace, the home or a divorce can lead to an easier accommodation, leading to a less intense stressful situation.
