On Monday, one swine flu case was confirmed in Kanpur named Sunita Jaiswal, it was doubted to be having H1N1 influenza and was finally declared positive by Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences.
She was 40-year –old was admitted in a hospital with bilateral pneumonia and after two days doctors found to be having H1N1 virus symptoms.

The condition of sunitha is very critical as informed by private hospital. She had shifted to SGPGI for necessary treatment after she was confirmed with H1N1 virus. Dr Agarwal , said that “Sunita was suffering from severe cough, cold and respiratory illness for the past one week. Having symptoms similar to H1N1 influenza, she was admitted to a private hospital on August 20.”
As she was identified with bilateral pneumonia, her throat swab had been taken and sent to the SGPGI for H1N1 test. In addition to this three of their family with husband and two children also identified with Tamiflu.

During 2009-10, nearly 27 were affected with swine flu from Kanpur.Sunitha was first to detected as swine flu in the year 2010 from that city. Moreover, Vineeta Devi from Etawah district were also tested and confirmed as H1N1 positive. Swine is increasing in India.
