Many studies states that drinking sufficient water daily can be beneficial in more ways. Recently some researches from Virginia discovered that drinking water before eating could help in weight loss.
During the American Chemical Society’s annual meet which was held in Boston some researchers submitted their findings to them, persons who drink two eight-ounce glasses of water before eating it might be breakfast, lunch and dinner might help you to lose five pounds for a period three months.
Dr. Brenda Davy, an associate professor of nutrition at the Blacksburg, Virginia-based University said in press release “As part of a prudent, low-calorie weight-loss diet, adding water may help with weight-loss success.”
Dr Davy conducted tests on 48adults between age group 55 to 75 to take part in a 12-week study. They were divided in to two groups. Two groups followed a low calorie diet but among them, one group was given two glasses of water before dining.
After completion of study, they had observed that people who were given additional water loss lost 15.5 on an average when compared to people who had not given two glasses of water before eating.
It is good research, which shows a way for weight loss in men and woman.
