Latest Researches says that women who had a habit of eating one chocolate daily can prevent heart problems in the future.
Research was carried out on nearly 32,000 middle-age woman found that European chocolate which is having larger cocoa amount had decreased the risk of getting heart attacks 26% (95% CI from 0.58 to 0.95) over a period of nine years.
Moreover, they reported that 32% lower heart failure risk in the woman who ate chocolates twice a week when compared to the woman who doesn’t eat chocolates.
Nevertheless, overeating may be somewhat harmful, which increases the fat content in the body, inturns leads to weight gain. Chocolate consumption must be moderate to have healthy life.
Whatever it may be, it is good news for chocolate lovers.
“Dark chocolate in the U.S. is not necessarily the same as chocolate in Europe,” Linda Van Horn in an interview. “Therefore, one cannot assume the darkness of the chocolate is the potency of the isoflavone content.”
