Sleep is a natural process but creating artificial environment to induce sleep definitely helps in relaxing the nerves which would in turn put the mind and body to rest. There are many factors that could affect a baby’s sleep.

- If the baby wakes up late in the morning it is advisable to wake him up early everyday at the same time.
- When your baby takes naps allow him to take a nap in a well lit environment. This will encourage him to take shorter naps.
- Make it a routine to feed your baby regularly during the day. This will reduce the night time feeds.
