		<description>Shauna, if you were just diagnosed with hypothyroidism, you have more to worry about than why you aren&#039;t getting dark when you tan. If you already know that, and are trying to find out if that is the cause, I personally haven&#039;t seen anything regarding lower melatonin or tanning levels with a thyroid issue.</description>

		<description>so i just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and i have been tanning 4 quite sometime now; is that why i have not been able to get as dark or retain the tan like i used to? i do not burn, but i do not get darker.</description>
